Source is so looking forward to SRCCON this year, with the rest of the OpenNews team. But time’s running short if you want to join us: our call for attendees closes on Friday, April 20. Here’s what you need to know.

SRCCON is returning to Minneapolis on June 28 & 29, 2018 for two days of collaborative conversations and workshops at the intersection of journalism and technology. OpenNews works to make SRCCON an inclusive and welcoming event, with space for this community to share challenges and experiments (and meals and snacks), support each other in our work, and push for change—led by local journalists and journalists of color—in our newsrooms when we get back home.

We’ve already got an amazing list of proposed sessions, which are always hands-on and collaborative.

If invited, you will have the chance to purchase a ticket for $225, plus fees. (If you could use some financial support to attend, you can also apply for a travel scholarship right in the very same form.) Participants will be notified by April 30.
